Genesis 8 - 11

Noah built an altar to GOD. He selected clean animals and birds from every species and offered them as burnt-offerings on the altar. Genesis 8:20-21 THE MESSAGE

When we were on our way to camp with the youth, we had time to spare. When we came upon a historical marker, we would stop and see how fast we could get out around it and snap a picture and jump back into the van. Our historical marker stops became hysterical marker stops.

What is a historical marker? It is a marker that indicates an important event or person occurred on or near the site. I think of Noah's altar to God as the first historical marker of the Bible. It is a point where we can look back on God's faithfulness. Many more historical markers will appear as we read through the Bible.

What are some of the historical markers in your own life where God has demonstrated His faithfulness to you?
